The Steps
Communication
The cornerstone of our service is communication so when you call us, if we can’t answer right then, we’ll call you back straight away and always within 24 hours. Once a project is underway we're happy to arrange progress updates and meetings at the end of working days and on weekends.
Home/Site Visits
When you're ready to discuss your project call us and we'll visit within 3 working days for an initial conversation.
Free Estimates
As soon as we know your vision for your project, we will provide a guide 'range' price for development and a detailed FREE estimate within the next 5 working days.
Architects
We work closely with local architects and can incorporate that process into a full ‘turn-key’ development. We're also happy to speak and work with your architect if you have one in place.
Design
The first step of development is the design process, creating a series of 2D / 3D digital models, and mood-boards visualising the space and the project aims. This becomes the basis for the project informing all plumbing, electrical and decorative decisions.
Scope & Specification
When the project has been fully defined we can provide a detailed scope/specification outlining all the requirements, material purchases and anticipated workloads. The project price can now also be firmed up.
Planning
As part of the management and planning process we create Gantt Charts showing the work schedule for each skillset and a timeline for the completion of the project in full, identifying key Milestones and payment stages.
Project Management & Quality Control
You will have a dedicated Project Manager who is focussed on the big picture as well as daily progress and the details of individual tasks to ensure Quality Control, budget adherence and a timely delivery.
The Goals
Quality & Project Scale
We take on projects that have a vision which enables us to deliver quality finishes, and this could be a refurbishment of just one or two rooms. If the work is only a small task or the goal is a quick, cheap fix we're probably not the right fit.
Flexibility & Changes
During development it's natural decisions are revised and the scope of work is adjusted. We're agile and happy to accommodate changes of mind and refinements to a project. We'll simply update the project scope/budget and agree these with you to reflect the new plans.
Pricing
Our prices are on a fixed scale and don't vary by job type or customer. Although we never haggle over prices we're always ready to suggest alternative ways of solving problems and creating beautiful spaces that save time and money too.
Budgets
Every project is different but as a 'Rule of Thumb' we suggest a budget from £1,000 per square metre for full refurbishments.
Our Team
We are serious mature professionals you’ll find a pleasure to have in your home - more likely to be listening to Classic FM or BBC Radio 4 than anything else.
Safety and Cleanliness
The project space will be kept clean by the Project Manager every day so it remains a safe and pleasant environment for everyone.
